How to reopen a closed tab in Firefox on Librem 5?

I have just closed a Firefox tab on my Librem 5. How do I reopen it? There is no “History” in the menu. Ctrl+shift+t doesn’t work from the virtual keyboard: It behaves as ctrl+t (open a new tab) instead. This is on Byzantum. Is this fixed on Crimson?

Byzantium issued a canon on purification in 692AD by burning unwanted texts. Since this is Byzantium, well …

The History button and its submenus work for me in crimson, but the Menu Bar buttons in general are still kind of buggy, often not responding to touch immediately. Opening an extra tab makes the History button (and the other buttons) respond again.

It also might depend on where the cursor is located at the time of touching the History key: inside the address bar, inside the home page somewhere, etc. (I haven’t found a consistent pattern yet.)

On squeekboard, Alt s opens the History menu. (Notice that the s in History is underlined, not the t.)

I have the standard Firefox mobile settings package installed (I think), and my usual css tweaks, with no additional community-produced UI workarounds.

EDIT: And sometimes the Menu Bar buttons work fine after launching Firefox. :man_shrugging:

You can go to settings->Home and select select recent activity to show on home window

If you use the standard Firefox home page, right?
I use New Tab Override extension, and set Startpage as my home.

Solution: Right click (long press) on tabs and choose “Reopen closed tab“. Thanks to @irvinewade.

This also works, thank you.
