How to tighten up the USB C dock?

How does one get the connector tightened up and at what cost?
I saw the issues others have had with the loose connection and treated this thing with kid gloves so if anyone says I mistreated it, a thousand sand flies will infest your under garment.

I haven’t done it myself, but if you partially disassemble the insides from the back, you might find something loose that maybe can be tightened. There’s a video demonstrating disassembly somewhere, I think. (Careful! obviously, if you try it.) It’s made to be user-serviceable, after all.

Thanks Amarok. I find most videos are vid of arms, fingers, bad lighting, too much shadows. But, @FranklyFlawless pointed to a very good set of images in a step x step.

Looking through the steps, I find very scary. I’d need to wait to get a ride in to town and get the “spudger” (somehow sounds pornographic) guitar pick … is something a experienced tech needs to do. IMO.

Any idea to whom I should contact at Puri, or here, to guesstimate what shipping and labour might be to tighten up the fem power connector? It’s very sensitive to movements, however slight.

(You might also ask them about the possibility of getting a spare battery when they ship it back, if that’s something you’ve been wanting. I don’t know what the regs are in that situation, though. i.e. whether it’s shippable abroad as long as it’s included with a device, or not)
