I messed up my waydroid and it shows Unknown. Apologies if this was already asked.
Is this easy to fix? It was months ago it got messed up and then I forgot about it. But now I wish it was working again.

Are you wanting to debug your install or just start new?
Starting new is pretty easy, just need to:
I guess if it was possible it would be nice to bring over old apps when otherwise starting new. Or at least to try to make some sort of backup.
EDIT:
The current Waydroid install is configured with special settings to run fullscreen and to have Google Play with all the apps, so I could go around pretending Librem 5 is mainstream society phone. This is more time consuming I think to set up than what you are saying.
Resetting it would lose those customizations, but last time the Waydroid Updater did an update it got into messed up state that lags so much its as if nothing works.
Was able to fix my issues with waydroid update and waydroid init commands!
Just curious do you mostly interact with the Android GUI or use ADB when fixing and loading apps?
What I was doing was not too fancy. I think in some sense it was not either one. I used the Waydroid troubleshooting help from this page:
… and that seemed to get me back on track. Most of this stuff was in bash, not Android GUI nor ADB
