I was listening to internet radio on my Librem 5 via GNOME Shortwave when I received an external call. I answered the call, but I could not hear the person calling me. I said: “I cannot hear you, can you please call me back, otherwise I will call back myself”, and then I hang up. The person called me back, and I could hear them.
Later on the same day, without rebooting the Librem 5, I got another call. At that time I was not playing radio with GNOME Shortwave, and the Librem 5 was in suspend mode. Again, I could not hear the person calling me. I asked to call me back. They called back, and I could hear them.
Has anybody here had the same experience?
I will try to reproduce this when I have some more time. I rebooted the Librem 5 now, because I expect more important calls.
No I did not. But I did not change anything between the calls, and both times the second call from the other person did work. Also note: I did not hear the other person (I will fix the title of this topic). The other person could hear me in all four calls.
Obvious question is whether you are latest release (crimson) or official release (byzantium). As crimson must be very close to official release, if you are not running crimson, you could consider upgrading / you ought to upgrade.
Ah, I did not think of this. I would not be surprised if I had switched my profile to silent and back before I ran into this issue. This will be part of my test that I will do later.
