Identify Librem 5 SIM/SD Card Connector

The SIM/SD card connector on my Librem 5 phone is broken. I asked a local repair shop to take a look at it and the guys there said they can’t source a replacement but would be happy to do the repair if I can. I emailed the support team at Purism and never heard back.

Can you identify this SIM/SD card connector? I have been scanning Digi-Key for an hour but cannot determine which model matches best.

I will accept a direct message and delete this post if Purism is worried about losing their vital trade secrets. I am an end user and I bought this phone with high hopes of … actually using it some day. Now it is hiding in a desk drawer bumming me out.

It may fixed by a mechanical-surgery on SIM/SD Socket.

I spent some time today looking at diagrams, a spreadsheet, etc. Thank you for that!

What I found out about component “J7”:

Manufacturer D-CHAIN (DongGuan D-CHAIN Precision Components Co, Ltd)
Mfr. Part # SA2101110135-103-01
Package: SMD (Surface Mount Device)
Description Card Tray Type 1.35mm Height SMD SIM Card Connectors; 3 Choose 2 Card (Double Nano SIM Card or Nano SIM Card + T. Flash Card)

The trouble now is finding a supplier of this exact part or an equivalent! The struggle continues!

Thanks again for your help.

I finally took the phone and card reader to my repair guys and got it back today. The replacement work went fine. The guy who made the repair said the interface between the SIM card tray and the case itself is way too tight. I have a lot of abrasives from my work, so I used a fine knife sharpening stone and gently flattened the long edges and took a littlr material off the rounded edges of the SIM tray frame cap (not sure on the terminology). I used a gentle figure eight (like I do when flattening a small piece for a job) scraping motion. Now the tray slides in and out perfectly.

Whew. I can finally start using this bad boy!
