Installing Coreboot

I just learned on this forum about the existence of Coreboot
an open source alternative to legacy bios / UEFI firmware.

Being a Linux user for more than a decade, I would like to
install such an opensource firmware on my Debian desktop.

My 5-6 years old desktop has an Intel Core i3 - 2100 cpu @ 3.10 GHz
Bios version : BLH6710H.86A.0159.2012.0927.1423

I’d appreciate any insight, advice and online links on this

I think the tougher issue is having a motherboard they support. You should probably check out the docs here https://coreboot.org/

Thank you
