Installing onto existing LVM

I have my /root and /home on an LVM partition, and I’m currently running another distro. I went to try to reinstall PureOS, but Calamares apparently doesn’t yet support installing onto pre-existing LVM volumes. I wanted run this idea by the forums to see if I’m just slightly crazy or totally crazy.

Download the Debian testing netinst image. Boot and install from that, but point the repo to repos.pureos.net instead of the Debian repos. Would that effectively create a PureOS install?

Nevermind. I just thought to check the PureOS installer for a basic Debian installer and lo-and-behold, it does! And that installs onto existing LVM groups just fine.
