Is CTRL+C/V in default "Text Editor"?

The “Text Editor” (gedit?) “Keyboard Shortcuts” points to copy/paste/cut as the usual standard being Ctrl+C/V/X. How does one find the Ctrl key in Text Editor?

How does one find the Ctrl key in Text Editor?

Between “123” and the space bar on the Text Editor’s default qwerty keyboard, there is a circle with some lines across it. If you tap on that circle, you will be offered a choice of alternative keyboard layouts. Tap on “Terminal” to facilitate the Terminal app’s default keyboard layout. That includes “Ctrl” in the top left corner.

Or you could make it easy for yourself by connecting a hardware keyboard.
