Kyle Rankin published a great blog post on how Librem hardware is less vulnerable to recent Intel hardware exploits “due to how we use (and don’t use) the ME.”
One question: does this hardening extend to other distros besides PureOS? For example, I’m currently using Manjaro on my Librem 13 (after a lot of distro-hopping). Is my system equally resistant to Intel ME problems?
I think you mean “Intel-safer”. No Intel CPU in the last decade is 100% safe as far as the Intel ME (homunculus CPU) is concerned. In other words, you got it right when you wrote “less vulnerable”.
