I have a qemu vm running pureos 10. I can vnc to the vm via qemu host without problems. installing gnome-remote-desktop and allowing port 5900 in firewall allows me to remote direct into vm ok, but some of the keyboard mapping is off. I use uk keyboard and have uk keyboard set in settings on the vm. but pressing < and > gives Z and X on the vm. any clues on how to fix the odd keymapping?
