I recently tried calling a business associate who transferred his number to Vonage. When I dial the number from my L5, I get an automated message saying something to the effect of “You’ve successfully reached the Vonage test line.” It repeats this three times before disconnecting. When I try calling from my wife’s iPhone, the call goes through just fine to the receptionist.
Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t know what the L5 would be doing behind the scenes that would cause their service to treat a call from my phone differently.
