ok, I’ve pushed an updated build, with a newer SeaBIOS release (which has some USB-HID fixes) and more debugging info. Please re-download script / re-flash precompiled image. Just need the non-working case

@MrChromebox it works. brb with what you need …

edit > https://pastebin.com/L6U2iTXS

with this one flashed if i press ‘Esc’ when prompted a single time it gets stuck just before the LUKS passphrase prompt (it looks like a black-screen with no text with some weird signal noise in the bottom)

at first i thought it was logging something but then i realized it was stuck there like that …

it boots fine if i do NOT press ‘Esc’

what i’m trying to say is that it does the exact same thing as the first time i reported it only it doesn’t reboot after 1 min this time

would be much appreciated if i could just press ‘L-Ctrl’ + ‘L-Alt’ + ‘Del’ to initialize a manual reboot without having to keep pressed the hardware-power-button to power-off then power-back-on … so annoying

thanks, I have an idea why the keyboard is failing now. I’ll need to dig deeper and will have another test build soon.

you are getting the Purism bootsplash/logo with this build, yes?

I’m not sure why CAD isn’t resetting, it should. If you’re able to file an issue on our gitlab tracker under coreboot that would be very helpful.

that is correct but i don’t like the “Esc>Boot Menu” logo on the right side < it should be CLEARLY visible on the screen where people USUALLY tend to wait for PROMPTS to happen (i.e on the TOP-LEFT portion of the screen where text is usually displayed most of the time anyway)

what is CAD ?

could you link to it ?

I can’t see us changing it, you’re literally the first one to raise the issue of which I’m aware

usually Canadian dollar, but in this context CTRL-ALT-DEL

@MrChromebox still not working > https://pastebin.com/TmdEGJaV < at least it doesn’t hang after i press “Esc” at the prompt but doesn’t take me to the Boot Menu

the weird signal noise at the bottom of the screen is still present there (briefly) before the LUKS prompt …

ok, can you pastebin the output of lsusb -v so I can see what descriptor/endpoint the OS finds it on?
