Let us know whether it works for you next time you are on ICE.

Maybe it resolves when actually on ICE. However in that case it will also only resolve if your DNS server settings are appropriate e.g. DNS server set (directly or indirectly) via DHCP.

Brand new L5 at home. Same symptoms, wouldn’t connect no matter what, but no failure message or any clue whatsoever.

The above worked, but I had to fiddle around a lot to get the apply button to light up, no idea what finally got it to do so.

Before trying this, mobile and bluetooth were off. As part of my desperate flailing around, I toggled airplane mode. As expected, airplane mode disabled wifi. But turning airplane mode off instantly reenbled mobile and bluetooth as well as wifi. I hope that teaches me to never enable airplane mode on the L5 again or at least remember to use the HKS first.

I tried connecting to the WifionICE this weekend with the Librem5.

  • Connecting out of the box did not work
  • Changing to WPA / WPA2 does not work without a key
  • Removing the IPv4 and IPv6 settings and asking to do it manually connects to the wlan, however it does not find anything then.
  • Setting the same DNS, Sub, etc as on my perfectly fine working laptop did not do the trick, it’s not finding anything
  • Even trying to access the ip from the browser did not work
