Latest Debian allows proprietary drivers. What will PureOS do?

WIll PureOS follow Debian’s lead and allow closed source drivers (eg, Bluetooth) to be loaded into PureOS?

Unlikely since Purism intends Pureos to run on their hardware and they select hardware that they intend to function without non-free firmware. Purism is likely to stick with that approach and point to “if PureOS doesn’t support the hardware you have, buy our hardware” instead of enabling Non-free firmware by default.

NO THANKS.

Such move would make PureOS unfit for the FSF endorsement.

Debian has never forbidden that action. They “only” did not ship/install by default until Bookworm.
