Liberty Phone: Streaming Amazon, Paramount+, et al on Firefox or ???

What do I need to do to stream video (I understand the privacy issue involved).

Thank you, @Heryan. I tried that and get hung up in a couple of places:

  1. “Find the browser.eme.ui.enabled parameter and set it to true (if it isn’t already). This will bring up a “Digital Rigths Management (DRM) Content Play DRM controlled content” checkbox“ – I find the browser.eme parameter, set it to true, but it does not bring up the DRM checkbox.
  2. I do have an enable (play) DRM content" item above FireFox updates is Settings, which I enabled.
  3. Amazon still says “You are running an unsupported version to this browser…”

It works for me with Amazon Prime (Video). I’ve just tested it again.
The parameter general.useragent.override (search it with about:config) is set to “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; Mobile; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0”

One more thing : my Librem 5 is with Crimson version.

Thank you, @Heryan . I’m also on Crimson (Liberty Phone) and have the same settings your mentioned, but still get the same error being behind the times. Sardonic grin.

I’m at a frustrated loss. I’ve tried Gnome web, Firefox, Firefox XXX (whatever it is), with the various tips and tricks recommended here and by puri.sm support. they all result in the unsupported version to this browser error on Amazon. None of them have the DRM plugin to turn on and I can’t suss out how to install that (though the ones I’ve installed, also from flatpak, on PopOS work just fine, so it seems to be a difference with PureOS and/or the Liberty phone? But some of you have it work for you just fine … so I’m at a frustrated loss. Grin.
