Hello!
i wanted to log into the local wifi, and i got a qr code to scan with the relevant data… with cheese i can see the code, but i can’t take the photo (maybe there is a take the shot button below the screen?)
with the camera.app i have no access to the camera…
so, if i want to scan a QR code with the librem 11, how do i achieve that?
Same here, except I get a spinning cursor, not just black. The camera is on (switched on) and shows decoder is allowed to use the camera in Settings/Camera/Privacy. Same is true on both the Librem11 and Librem5 (Evergreen). Cheese is able to access the camera.
I’m running PureOS as shipped on the device. I have run updates.
millipixels isn’t in the “store”, but it is available via apt. I get this when doing apt install millipixels though:
...
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
millipixels : Depends: libcamera0 (>= 0~git20220628+27cc0a6b) but it is not installable
Depends: libtiff (>= 4.0.3) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
My apt seems ok though, e.g apt -f install on it’s own doesn’t report any errors or brokenness. Also apt upgrade says everything is up to date.
I take that back. I was able to get millipixels working on the Pinephone. Just need to point at the QR code, it should then draw a red square over the QR code, then tap the red square and it will display the decoded text.
Yes running plain pureOS on the librem11…
and millipixels fails because of dependencies to libcamera and tibtiff…
it depends on the git version of libcamera as it seems…
