Librem 13 laptop abruptly boots again with light twisting of the frame

Certain twisting motions of the laptop frame cause the laptop to revert to the full disk encryption screen. Like, one moment I’m on the desktop doing whatever, the next moment the laptop is booting again (except it seems to skip the screen in GRUB to choose a kernel and go straight to asking for the encryption passphrase). Upon booting again, all session information has been lost, it’s a fresh boot. So kind of like a reboot, only it doesn’t shut down normally, it seems to just drop everything and boot again. This is brought about as I said by even very light twisting of the frame, also sometimes by even very light impacts, a light tap to the frame.

The problem is getting so bad that when I want to move my laptop (such as from my lap to next to me on a couch), it difficult to move the laptop without causing this issue, even when I am trying consciously to move the laptop in such a way as to hopefully avoid this issue.

Any idea what could cause such a problem?

Thank you very much. Have a great day.

No, I suggest contacting Purism support.
