Librem 13v2 - Wifi transmit led stays on after flipping killswitch to off

Just wondering if any other Librem 13v2 users have the Wifi light stay on when you’ve flipped the killswitch to the off position? Flipping the killswitch appears to put the laptop into airplane mode, but the light stays on, which makes me think there might be some power still going to it?

that article says that on the wifi, it disables the chip but does not cut power.

What is the purpose of this LED? AFAIK it’s always ON…?
