Librem 14 Battery Charging Problem

I am sure I caused the problem when I reinstalled pureOS because I am missing a driver or something but I a having the following problems:

I am using a Dell USB-C 65 watt charger.

  • Using USB-C PD does not work at all on the left side port.
  • USB-C charging on the right port only maintains the battery level - the battery percentage stays where it was at (in my case right now it’s been at 49% since yesterday)
  • Charging does not occur at all when the laptop is off using USB-C (The charge LED is off)
  • Using the included charger, it takes about 5-6 hours to go from 20% 100%

I installed the librem-ec-acpi-dkms driver but I am still having the same problems.

Only the right side USB-C port supports USB PD.
There might be default battery charge threshold set which is causing battery charge being stuck at 49%, you can solve this by running echo 90 | sudo tee /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_control_start_threshold

That solved my problem. It currently says it will be fully charged in 2.5 hours.

thank you!
