I’ve been writing a tool for Librem 14’s notification light to enable anyone to use a GTK wrapper to set color, pattern, and behavior on a global or per-app basis. If all goes well, one can hope that it should be pluggable to Librem 16. I plan on packagibg the whole thing up when done. Not sure who to reach for getting it in Purism’s repos but I think it’d be neat.
