Has anyone added an additional disk? The hardware upgrade was easy enough, but i am apprehensive about trashing my main disk if I misconfigure LUKS. Any pointers before I take on this ‘learning experience’?
do you intend to expand storage with LVM in Linux ?

Another tip, assuming that you intend to keep the two disks as separate disks, is to make sure you know which disk has which device name e.g. by checking their capacities (assuming of course you are lucky enough that the two disks have different capacities).
