A brick & mortar store in the U.S. called Batteries Plus Bulbs has an extra service when you replace a battery. If yout pay them an extra fee, the battery you just bought to replace something gets “guaranteed for life” and they will replace it for free. I’ve bought into the service a couple of times, once for my cheap Timex watch and once for my car key fob. I’ve used the service once on my Timex watch. Works for laptop batteries too. But there would be a delay for battery models on in store.
Hmmm… I wonder if they keep the Librem 5 battery model in stock ?
It reminds me of shops with big writings like “screen protectors for ALL smartphone models”. When I come with my Librem 5, they suddenly say that they can’t help me.

I think they are now called “Batteries Plus”, but the do sell bulbs too.
People should be aware that Librem 5 batteries appear to be selling on ebay for approx $30USD. They are shipped from China and appear to have the appropriate model number stamps. Caveat Emptor.
