Librem 5 Hotspot at 5Ghz, is it possible? (as opposed to just 2.4Ghz)

Hi there,
I’ve recently been having issues with connecting my Raspberry Pi 4 to my L5 hotspot. Apparently that pi has issues staying connected with any wifi at 2.4Ghz but 5Ghz is never an problem.

Now I have heard that it’s possible that the Librem 5 can in fact run at 5 Ghz, but there doesn’t appear to be a simple option in settings that you can change, but I was wondering if there was some way to change that or whether it would be recommended or not.

Really, I’m just curious.

Any advice given will be well appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, “network-manager” install it, go to show all apps in your launcher, go into the new application (it will be called Advanced Network Settings).

Once in the application, use mobile-settings to shrink it to fit display. Go to settings with the Hotspot option highlighted, go to the corresponding page for speed. Once there, select 2.4GHz

Got it, thank you.

Forgotten about the ‘Advance Network Manager’ tbh.

Thanks again
