It is getting so close. Purism recently helped me figure out my VoLTE issue and without even thinking about it, I’m almost using it as a daily driver for the last week. If things keep going well I might switch the SIMs and see how it goes!
It certainly isn’t for mainstream yet, but as a big Linux and open source fan it certainly fills the need I have. I’m starting to investigate the code repositories more and was even compiling projects on it a few nights ago in docked mode. I Hope to soon attempt to make a few changes to fix some of the rough edges of the UI experience I’ve been having and then it will work even better for day to day use.
I think / hope that once some of these hardware issues get resolved the momentum could really build on this.
