Good luck selling all this, but if you don’t end up making a sale, I highly encourage any sort of contest. (thinking back to the Purism Game Jam  )

On a scale of one to wishful thinking, definitely more towards wishful thinking.

I adjusted the price to be more realistic, if it doesn’t sell, I likely will do a giveaway. To be honest, I just want to buy a Steam Deck.
Definitely we’ll consider direct trades.

3 posts were split to a new topic: Selling a Librem 5 USA tangent

When you asked me if you could keep some of the hardware accumulated over your career with Purism, it seemed like you would hold on to them as professional keepsakes rather than returning company property to HQ to be placed in the hardware museum. If you don’t need them anymore, please consider returning what you don’t want anymore to HQ or other staff that also played a critical part in making the Librem 5 a reality.

This hardware was a gift and is therefore your property, but I’m genuinely disappointed with the nature of this trade/giveaway and ask that you reconsider.

I would buy it right now if I could sell a kidney to afford it.

This hardware was actually not a gift. I was never given a Librem 5 USA. I had to buy one with my own pocket money, so that is why I’m selling it now. I actually did not care to use it in our marketing videos, but I had no other options, so I did use it. I really don’t appreciate all of this assumption when you didn’t bother to come and ask me.
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate your time, but I will continue to sell it.

If this was hardware you provided, then I wish you all the best on the sale. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
