Librem15 v4: Unable to mount /boot

I’m having issues getting into CoreBoot after installing Debian with Grub PC on a ZFS filesystem.

PureBoot is not recognizing the Boot Volume. It also seems it doesn’t get far enough to allow me to boot from an external usb. I there any way to bypass the /boot and override it?

Press the Esc key at the right time?

I was being dropped into the pureboot recovery shell. I discovered the if I run usb-scan, I can boot off a USB drive.
