Librem5 and xfce

Hi, I thought: will it be possible to use xfce or similar to save the use of the ram?

At launch, the Librem 5 will most probably sport Plasma Mobile. Purism team is working on porting GNOME to mobile.

There is much to bet that both Plasma Mobile and GNOME Mobile will be optimized for systems limited in resources.
It is still early to speculate about whether XFCE will be ported to mobile or not, and whether it will use less RAM than GNOME Mobile or Plasma Mobile or not.

I guess you could possibly use xfce if it would be in available in repos or you compile it yourself. Problem is that xfce would be pain in the neck to use on phone because is was not intended to be used in such way.
