Today I had everything working fine and decided to perform software update from the pureos store app. The update seemed to carry on normally, but now after restart, when I am asked to enter disk encryption passphrase, it is totally non responsive. The keyboard is shown, but nothing happens when trying to enter any character. After a while, about 30s, it turns off.

I suggest reviewing existing topics that sound similar. I think there is some scenario in common with other users that causes this (although unfortunately I don’t know what that scenario is).

Some general options to proceed:
- Check that the boot partition is not full. OR
- Use Jumpdrive to fix up whatever needs fixing. OR
- Restore from known good backup. OR
- Reflash (possibly after making a backup) and then reestablish.

Thanks. I realized that best option for me was to start all over by performing reflash with latest stable version, which btw just completed successfully.
