I’m trying to use the latest Crimson-plasma live boot ISO on my Dell Precision Latitude. I’m using a GLIM multi-ISO boot USB flash drive.
[ Aside: is this post still correct? It’s a little dated: ⚡ Howto Build PureOS images ]
I keep running into errors, trying various workarounds. The latest attempt dropped me into a console shell with a bunch of ‘/dev/sda1 failed to mount on /cdrom’ errors, and a prompt to boot from a URL, at which point the keyboard was not functional.
Am I going to have to build a kernel to replace the one on the ISO image? The lubuntu ISO on this flash drive boots without issue.
Thanks,
Dave
