I forget if it was Purism, but I’m really thankful for whoever introduced me to kdenlive. I found it interesting that when I asked one of the AI or search systems a year or two ago – probably one from big tech – to tell me what video editor to use, they suggested something that wasn’t fully functional. I pretty quickly fell back to using an outdated Windows install with an ancient pre-subscription-model version of Adobe Premiere.
Kdenlive has been wonderful and has gotten me to stop doing that and stop using Adobe Premiere. I hope nobody buys it and makes it no-longer-good like society is working so hard to do with Audacity.
