I mean Halow it use differents techniques, 0km to 5km it using 256-QAM, 5km to 15km is BPSK if cross 15km it use: MCS 10 on 1mhz.
More over there is a new chip halow that push 45MBs.
Sadly there is not a halow module compatible to Gnu just for Linux. : ( this is the reason why i have not published the Halow chipset that i have.
Interestingly, LoRa is compatible with Gnu.

There is another new halow chip that reach 100km and looks like compat to gnu, which do not need blobs on os.

I’ve seen Meshtastic nodes (LoRa) do 140km tests, mountain tops though…lol.

FCC only permit 1 watt -o on 1 subghz, so i think this devices it is unFCC to get 100km.
