Microphone location and audio difficulties in librem13-v1

Where is the internal microphone located in librem-13v1?

Any idea how to check the audio card recording capabilities (hardware wise)?

Since sometime I get only sizzles and noises when trying to record voice samples from my llibrem13-v1. That render the laptop completely unusable for visio confcall.

Since I get the same behavior with 3 differents distribution I guess this is an important hardware issue (even when using headset noise is louder than voice). I guess this is an issue with the audio connection.

Perhaps this could help: https://tracker.pureos.net/T285

Yes it helps a bit.

I did this command as root

echo load-module module-echo-cancel aec_method=webrtc >>/etc/pulse/default.pa

and then restart pulseaudio as the default user with the following commands:

pulseaudio --kill
pulseaudio --start

Now I can choose the newly input device Internal audio with noise cancellation and I am able to record or to use webrtc application correctly with a headset (which include a mic) plugged in.

Without headset nothing changed.

Thank’s anyway. I am now able to make visio call again with this workaround.
