Finished upgrading to Byzantium and now Nautilus doesn’t seem to support smb. It’s seemingly not an option in the “Connect to Server” section under Other Locations. Usually the Connect button would activate, but it doesn’t. Just typing in an smb location doesn’t do anything.
Also I have smb share points on the left side of Nautilus. If I choose one it says, “Sorry, could not display all the contents of “[location]”: The specified location is not supported.”
cifs:// also doesn’t work.
I now have to use a terminal mount command to get access to smb shares. What can I do to fix nautilus?
Ok, I had to go and delete pretty much every package related to nautilus and uninstall and reinstall. Now it’s working. Upgrading has been a pain!
