Breathe, disconnect and take a moment for yourself

I had a moment today where I felt like I was struggling to focus on the work I needed to do, and then I remembered that my personal laptop and personal phone that I was using as the source of distractions were both Purism tech and I could just shut off all the hardware switches on both, leaving only the main thing I needed to focus on and otherwise putting myself in an offline bubble.

It was great. Great source of progress.

Software-based security measures, while essential, are not foolproof. They can be bypassed or exploited, leaving users vulnerable.

It’s worse than that. When the operating system is the privacy vulnerability (looking at you, Android), there is no way to have software-based measures.
