I guess this is due to the fact that EDS is somehow really baked into GNOME… Sorry, I have no other clue right now
Got my new Librem 5. From the moment I set up Nextcloud syncing of contacts they never were accessible from Geary.
If I run:
/usr/libexec/evolution-data-server/addressbook-export --output /tmp/test
I do see the contacts listed in /tmp/test.
It seems to be a problem with the connection between Geary and EDS.
I was able to get it to work after messing around in the shell for a bit. I am not sure what I did that fixed it. I’ll try a reboot and try to reproduce the problem and the fix and post the results here.
