After upgrading to Byzantium I now have an issue whereby when saving from some apps there is no option for saving to SMB shares.
Usually when saving a Nautilus window opens. On the left side is Other Locations and then on the bottom right would be the option “Connect to Server.” But it’s not there. This is the case for Thunderbird, Firefox, Chrome, Tor, Calibre.
I should note that in Nautilus itself the shares are mounted.
LibreOffice works fine.
The only work around is to manually mount the shares to a directory. But this wasn’t the case prior to upgrading to Byzantium.
