Not a big deal but noticed whenever I click on a contact in Contacts, it always without fail selects the contact below the contact I selected. Not sure if anyone else noticed this.
Works as expected for me.
I’m bumping this post I did last year because this still happens for me and I have no clue why. When selecting a contact, it most of the time selects the contact below, even when connected to my nexdock and using a mouse, so it’s not a fat finger thing. Has anyone else experienced this?
No, never.
This is my replacement L5 as my original one was lost in shipping but the behaviour occured on that one as well as my replacement. My contacts are from my nextcloud server and that’s the only thing I can think of that might be the issue here.
Okay, create a local contact list and determine if that suspicion is true or not.
I changed it to local in preferences in contacts, created a contact, and it does the same thing. To get into it I have to click the above contact. It’s the weirdest thing, makes zero sense.
Okay, try installing the Flatpak instead and see if that changes the behavior.
Gnome contacts? And do I uninstall it first?
Yes, and I believe installing that will have the operating system launch it instead of the system package, so there is no need to uninstall the latter.
That worked, thank you!
