Hello.
I’d like to install Parabola OS on Librem 14. Its wireless module is Intel AX200 and Parabola installation image can not find a proper firmware for it: iwlwifi log contains a lot of strings like these:
0000:01:00.0: Missing Free firmware (non-Free firmware loading is disabled)
However PureOS definitely does not have any issues with this module. Unfortunately, kernel versions of PureOS and Parabola differ, so I can not simply copy module iwlwifi.ko from PureOS and load it.
So… What should I do in order to make wifi work? Should I recompile module from PureOS somehow? Or may be there is a way to tune Parabola module?
Thanks in advance!

It is not possible wlan on parabola thanks to FOSS, FLOSS Linux Business Enterprise.
Because PureOS it is more a FLOSS system than Free Software system.
Just call to Purism for a True Freedom and Fast module init.
Thanks.

Not run Parabola? Failing that, I guess this is really a question for the Parabola forum.
Also, it may not be a kernel module that is missing but instead just the firmware file.
If none of the above works out then replacing the internal WiFi module with one that is supported by Parabola may be an option.
Or use a supported WiFi dongle (and then either do or don’t remove the internal WiFi module, depending on your preference and requirements).

It is disabled from root. So it need a Gnu Module like Atheros QCNFA222 which supports HKS for L14.

Parabola GNU/Linux-libre, as its name suggests, uses the Linux-libre kernel, which prevents device firmware from being loaded by the operating system if it is unable to detect free firmware. Therefore, If you insist on using an M.2 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card with Parabola, you will need to replace the Intel AX200(NGW) with the Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 (QCNFA222) instead.

Thanks everyone!
I was hoping that It was me who did something wrong, but it seems Parabola really is not an option for the hardware I have. It’s a pity. However you saved me some time, thanks.
