Please unlock disk message when booting up

Hi, I always receive this message when booting up PureOS on Librem 14:

Please unlock disk luks-….

Any ideas on how to get rid of this?

thanks

I want to get some more clarity on what you are asking. Do you not know the password to decrypt the operating system (OS, and therefore stuck at the screen? Or you know the password but no longer want to have the OS be encrypted?

Or the prompt is bogus and does not interfere in any way with normal booting??

thanks. homestly I never thought of entering a password here. I just ended up holding down the power button, rebooting, and comes up to a blue screen with options I just choose option one which is to load GNU/Linux

it will just hang there and nothing loads. I never thought to actually enter in the root password so I will try that . I always ended up just holding down the power button and rebooting.

If it is PureOS the default password is 123456
