What is your preferred on screen keyboard for Librem 5?

Voted for Squeekboard since I love my custom squeekboard yaml.

I haven’t tried Stevia since it was initially released as phosh-osk-stub. It was good but had one small thing that irked me so I switched back. It may have improved since then.

Stevia definitely became better. What didn’t you like when you tested p-o-s? Just curious.

Squeek has always been a more unix facing layout, I need tab, arrows, ctrl, esc, etc.

I’m still on Byzantium and when I used squeekboard in the past with 150% scaling the keyboard appeared too small for me to use comfortably. Phosh OSK stub (I guess Stevia now) does shrink but not as bad. Did squeekboard ever resolve that issue? The version on Byzantium is 1.22

At some point there was a mobile setting implemented where you could scale the Squeekboard height, for landscape and portrait separately. This should fix “too small”. Buttons will make use of all available space.
