Problem With Scanner

Hi,

I’m having trouble with my printer/scanner. I have a Librem 13, version 4. My printer is an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w.

Printing works just fine. However, when I try and use the Simple Scan program, I receive an error message “Failed to Scan-Unable to start scan”. After I click the Scan button, I hear the scanner make some mechanical noises like it is initializing, but after a few moments, the error message appears.

Any ideas on how I could troubleshoot this?

This isn’t helping to troubleshoot but have you tried using the web interface to scan? For basic scanning of single pages that should be adequate.
