PureBrowser not being detected as Mozilla?

I’m finding a few apps are not detecting PureBrowser as a Mozilla / Firefox compatible browser, most notable for me is Slack which says it’s unsupported.

"We are no longer supporting this browser, so you’ll need to switch to one of our supported browsers to keep using Slack. We know this can be a pain, and we’re sorry for asking you to do it. You can learn more about why we no longer support some browsers in our FAQ.

As always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions. "

Is there a way of hacking this so I send different browser headers? Thanks in advance

You could try setting compat mode, if you have not already. This is described here, though the purpose for the wiki entry is different. It adds the ‘Firefox’ token that may make the site (app?) happy.

You can also spoof your uagent string. uMatrix will do it with a setting in its “Privacy” tab, as will other add-ons that allow you to manually select what you want to be.
