Yes but think of it. For the word Byzantium, does the majority of the world think of it as a color? Nah, 99 percent would think of the Byzantine empire. As a color, Byzantium is rather esoteric, maybe artists and graphic designers would know it.
Amber? Makes more sense, but the rest of us would think of the preserved tree sap that holds prehistoric bugs.
So it seems I struck a chord with the company inner knowledge on their naming convention.
