PureOS/GNOME freezing when previewing a file with Sushi (spacebar in Nautilus)

Hi,

If I’m using the ‘space bar’ to preview a file or an image, the all system is freezing, I can’t do nothing and it stays like that for ever…^^

The sole solution I’ve found out is to force the restart of the Librem :s

This is strange. Have you updated your system? Can you try ctrl+alt+F2 to see what will happen? I’ll see if I can reproduce this.

Edit: Nope, cannot reproduce. Please update your system (https://tracker.pureos.net/w/recommendations/upgrading_packages/).

I’ve been updating the system regularly.
From the last one, the problem seems to be solved.
Thanks.

Sorry but again I’m having the same problem, using the space bar to preview a document, an image, etc.
and the all gnome environment is frozen and the only solution is to force the all system to shut down :s
Doing the update does not change anything.

Any idea ?
Thanks.

Is this Librem 13 v1 or Librem 13 v2? I cannot reproduce this on L13v1.

i have a Librem v2, freshly new

Had the same problem with .doc files. I have debian multimedia repository installed and after
sudo apt install ffmulticonverter unoconv
the problem went away. Not sure if you need to install both of those packages.
