You can also use the search tool to access and install probably tens of thousands of Debian-based packages that probably won’t scale well to the screen yet, many of which can possibly just be run from the terminal anyway.

Of course, any GNU/Linux software can also be installed from the Terminal.

It’s possible to add other repositories to the PureOS store, or through the Terminal.

Edit: The asterisk next to listed packages indicates pre-installed on the L5.

Edit2: Under Add-Ons, there are also various Fonts available, and Input Sources/Methods.

Yes these is a list if applications that are marked as “mobile friendly”. As in: it fit’s in your 5 inch screen nicely.

This is a quite time consuming work because it requires to change the metainfo files in the applications to mark them as mobile friendly. In some cases it is being done by the developers, in other cases by us. And that work is far from over

That’s the beauty of Linux… Hundreds of developers around the world can be working to write or improve applications all at the same time if they want to. Then those improvements can make their way to the phone. :slightly_smiling_face:
