I interpret that comment as a affront suggesting anyone older than GenZ is simpleminded? I doubt it was your intent, but so often I see the same uses - that seniors are addlepated.

The three can be summed up as the Gimme-gimme generations. While the Boomers worked for a living without whining someone, or that has mis-gendered them, and now have anxiety and panic attacks.

The boomers have more pizzazz, panache, certainly more intelligent because Boomers don’t need Facebook, Google, or Microsoft to get through their day.

I would be curious to know just what gens are buying in to Librem products.

I suspect @tracy is about the same age as you. Perhaps he has earned the right to make such a suggestion, which could be as much about himself as anyone else in his cohort. :rofl:

Regardless, lets not replace one generational affront with more. I wouldn’t presume to summarise any generation.

You will note that the OP specified: Gen Z and not only

even though that is not reflected in the topic title.

Different individual people will have different individual reasons for wanting to switch to a dumbphone. I personally don’t.
