QubesOS installation hangs on Librem Mini

I have a Mini with 32GB RAM and 500GB disk, PureBoot and PureOS. The PureOS runs fine.

I tried to install QubesOS 4.0.3 from ISO on Bootable USB. Got the Boot menu and got all the way to the option to “Test Media … and … Install Qubes …” (1st menu choice). Install got as far as “Loading Kernel …” and then the installation hung. Tried it 3 times with same results.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

This forum is magical ! After merely posting this, I tried the same thing a 4th time and now the installation is moving along ! Not thrilled about the lack of determinism, but it’s probably some small thing I did differently that I’m not aware of.
