I invested $5000 into the 2023 Revenue Share Asset Backed Loan. Purism contacted me in early 2024 for payment details, and sent a $100 initial test payment in June 2024. Since then, however, I have heard nothing more from them about my investment, despite several inquiries to ir@puri.sm. I thought there might be something mistakenly blocking the messages (either my emails to Purism or their replies to me), but in my most recent email to ir@puri.sm I CC:ed support@puri.sm and got a reply from the support bot acknowledging receipt. So I know the communications failure is not a technical problem.
What is the current status of this loan? Are they still waiting until they have sold enough inventory to start paying it back? It would be nice to have occasional updates (e.g. annually, when Purism file their accounts) on the progress towards paying it off. Alternatively, if it will never be repaid, it would be helpful to have some kind of confirmation of this so that I know to write off my investment.
If so, you should have been receiving monthly interest and revenue share payments:
This note will earn 9% interest annually with revenue sharing monthly payouts until the loan is satisfied plus interest, there is no action required to receive these loan payouts, they will be automatic monthly payments tied to revenue sold from the assets. Your investment is recorded and confirmation will be visible in My Account on the Purism shop.
No, it was definitely the 2023 loan - I made my investment on December 22, 2023.
When I received the mailing list email announcing the 2025 loan, I replied asking if my 2023 investment would be rolled over into the 2025 loan, but got no reply.
My investment does not show up in the “investments” page in the Purism Shop, even though it was originally made through the Purism shop page (order #Purism_3066018).
You should collect all of your documents and evidence that you actually made this “investment”. I’m not sure what the terms of the 2023 agreement were, but I’m assuming they should have been making interest payments to you. If so, you can begin proceedings. It may be the only way to get someone to contact you.
Is it possible that email from Purism is being binned by your mail service provider?
So Purism is responding but you are not receiving?
It could be possible, but I have tried two different email addresses from different providers, and also I did get the autoresponder email from the support bot at support@puri.sm
I will try again from my work email, which is hosted by GMail.
