I am putting together a security system for my father’s farm. The solution will be mostly running LoRa to load sensors data but the main server is connected to an antenna hosted by a distant neighbor. The backup connection is via Starlink.
I was asked to come with a third solution and came across the RockBLOCK. A friend of mine immediately reminded me he could 3D print me a back cover for my Librem 5 and we could try texting via Iridium from my phone.
Any thoughts?
