RTOS: Zephyr for Librem 5

We seeing Purism porting Zephyr to Librem 5, but to be honest i not sure how this will benefits the Librem 5, i will thankful if a Purism programmer could explain to us the benefits for L5.

Preparation for developing a smart watch perhaps? PineTime also ships with an RTOS based OS (https://github.com/InfiniTimeOrg/InfiniTime).

Not sure what you’re asking about. Zephyr has worked on i.MX 8M Quad’s M4 core for years now.
